Reethi Rah Maldives OverviewThis luxury Maldives’ resort is a real gem for privacy lovers. The island is an octopus shape and has about 6 km of coastline – I mean it’s not like the Maldives is ever crowded but the layout of 130 villas means you, like many Hollywood stars, can enjoy complete privacy.

30 Water Villas are connected to the island by walkways. Outside they have split level decks and covered terraces on stilts.

All of the rooms come with air-conditioning, wide-screen plasma TVs, DVD players, sun beds, safes, double bathrooms and dressing areas and a fully stocked beverage cabinet. There’s also a Villa Host who is dedicated to making your stay as effortless as possible, which isn’t very hard to do in the Maldives!

If you’re not much of a walker then you can have unlimited use of the resort's pick-up and drop-off electric buggy service. And if even that’s too much then you can enjoy in-villa dining which is available 24 hours a day. This bespoke service of food isn’t just for those who dine in their villas, the staff are happy to cater to any dietary requires or tastes too.
The Rah Bar serves healthy snacks by the pool including freshly squeezed juices and salads. After dark it transforms into a cocktail bar playing live music.The Fanditha Restaurant is on the northern tip of Reethi Rah Maldives island and is a real treat for foodies like Phil as it offers a range of cuisine including Lebanese and Middle Eastern, but the dress code is super casual which makes sense if you consider you’ll be dining on driftwood lounges, Arabic carpets and woven hammocks. If you want something farther a field why not try… The Tapasake Over the Water Restaurant can be found on the west side of the island allowing you to watch the sunset whilst you eat. If you’re not fussy about eating but are about seating then the restaurant offers variety of seating including covered deck seating, Chef's table, sushi counter, the sea-view deck, or laid-back sunken pods.
Fish and seafood, straight out of the Indian Ocean is served tapas style as well as traditional sashimi and sushi prepared right in front of you if you sit at the sushi counter. If like Phil you know your wine then enjoy the world's best Rieslings. The Reethi Restaurant is the main restaurant and can be found on the east side of the island. Whilst it is luxury, the tables are outside and the feel is as casual as the Maldivian tropical breeze. It has a diverse à la carte menu including dishes from the Mediterranean stretching across the globe to the Far East; you can enjoy your evening meal under a thatched pergola overlooking the vast expanse of the Indian Ocean… and for added luxury, there’s even a walk-in wine cellar for that cosmopolitan Reethi Rah Maldives experience.

Reethi Rah Maldives Specialities KidsOnly (this is how One&Only Reethi Rah spell it!) is free for all children from 2-11 and has imaginative programmes to keep your children amused on a daily basis. All activities are targeted to the specific age group and are available for 12 hours a day. All children up to three years old have to have a guardian with them whilst they use the KidsOnly Kids Club but never fear guardians also come in the guise of babysitters available 24 hours a day from the resort at an additional charge. So don’t be surprised if your children return to tell you tales of water sports, tennis or other excursions as it’s not just the grown ups that have all the fun! All the Kids Club staff are fully trained and just so that children are fully catered for, KidsOnly has its very own pool restaurant area and clubhouse. Wedding ceremonies of blessing rather than legally binding weddings also take place on the Reethi Rah Maldives.
Hmm… Anything else catch your eye?Your Reethi Rah Maldives private yacht doesn’t come with the cost of your holiday so take note folks! A one way trip costs around 130 US dollars per person aged 12 or above and 65 US dollars for children from 4 – 11 and there’s a 10% fuel surcharge on top of that price. The US dollar is the currency favoured here, but they do offer an exchange service for most of the major currencies too.
