Paradise Island Maldives AccommodationWater Villas Paradise Island Resort has 40 water bungalows, which give you ample opportunity to marvel at the clear blue waters surrounding the island right from your door step, while perfecting that suntan you deserve.Water Villas have private decks and stairs leading to the lagoon. (If you’re interested in the water villas, ask your travel agent about availability as they were all damaged during the Tsunami 2004) Beach Bungalows Paradise Island has 220 beach bungalows. The bungalows are built just on the beach few meters away from the seashore. All 220 beach rooms have sea view, direct access to the beach and an out-door shower in the private garden. All rooms come with air conditioning, mini bar, multi-channelled in-house and satellite TV, IDD telephone and attached bathroom with shower, bathtub and that all important accoutrement... a hair dryer. The A to Z of activities on a Maldives island resort generally reads like a phone book. Paradise Island is no different and provides all the water sports and land based activities you’ve become accustomed to finding. On paradise they also include an indoor badminton court, squash court and well maintained tennis courts (a small charge for their use). The Dive centre offers great facilities and of course you’ve everything else from crab racing to catamaran sailing, jet skiing to jewellery shops and beach volleyball to Blue Water safari trips.
