The island consists of 5 restaurants, including Al Tramonto for Italian... Fukuya Teppanyaki for Japanese dishes and sushi... Dhavani Restaurant for light lunch and snacks... and The Sunrise Restaurant for candle lit dinners and seafood. The main restaurant serves International dishes and the five bars will keep you in cocktails and, of an evening, dancing if you wish… A great Dive centre with all the support and PADI qualified staff you’ve come to expect from a Maldives resort can be found on Paradise Island. We are also reliably informed that Paradise Island run Submarine Excursions.... Now I don’t think it’s on the scale of Red October… "Dive dive dive...!" But certainly worth investigating. Paradise Island is no different and provides all the water sports and land based activities you’ve become accustomed to finding. On Paradise they also include an indoor badminton court, squash court and well maintained tennis courts (a small charge for their use). The Dive centre offers great facilities and of course you’ve everything else from crab racing to catamaran sailing, jet skiing to jewellery shops and beach volleyball to Blue Water safari trips. Snorkelling trips to different locations beyond the reef all with qualified staff to accompany you. Snorkelling hire can be found on the island and if you’re on vacation for a couple of weeks it might be an idea to bring your own gear.
