Meedhupparu Island Resort Maldives lies in the north Maalhosmadulu Atoll; more commonly called Raa Atoll (probably because it’s a lot easier to pronounce). It’s a good 130 kilometres North West of Malé International Airport (you can view it by downloading the free resort map which you can open in a new page by right clicking) and takes 40 minutes by seaplane. Meedhupparu is the only resort in the Raa atoll and is rated as 4 stars.
There’s a Champagne toast, gifts and a vows certificate. Being a four star resort you'll receive... Wait for it... A two tier celebration wedding cake and once you’ve recovered from eating all of that... ...There’s a paradise excursion with picnic lunch for you both. A boat trip in a decorated dhoni and in the evening a five course dinner for two on the beach. Yes folks, you read correctly, in fact we knew you'd think you hadn't which is why we put it in bold - five whole courses! The next morning drag yourselves (kidding) to the grill bar for a Champagne breakfast.
