You Can’t Beat The Beach House At Manafaru Maldives
Manafaru Maldives Facilities
If your room hasn’t whet your appetite enough then you’ll be more than satisfied with corking cuisine from the Beach House Manafaru
It has three restaurants and three bars… open all day… cocktail-tastic!
Oh and if like Charley you’re not fussy but “know what you like” then you’ll be pleased to know that at the Beach House, you’ll enjoy fresh organic food and the fact that your food and drinks are only ever a phone call away and can be delivered to you… anywhere on the Beach House Manafaru Island.
The Four Corners Restaurant offers cuisine from, you guessed it…
The four corners of the globe! With both buffet and à la carte available, you can sample Indian Ocean King Scallops Terrine with Gazpacho Sorbet one day and a good old fashioned pizza the next.
The Saffron Restaurant is designed with romance in mind. The, over-water Asian-fusion restaurant specialises in local delicacies and wider Asian influences.
The Medium Rare Restaurant for all you non meat/seafood eaters out there (Charley included) it’s perhaps better to skip to the next section as this Manafaru Maldives' eatery serves up lobster and Black Wagyu steaks along side its fresh line caught fish.
The great feature of this place – besides the mouth watering menu – is that everything is prepared right in front of you, in the central open-plan kitchen.
The Salt Water Bar is a laid back affair… recline in a cushion-stuffed hammock suspended over the edge of the deck at the Beach House’s Salt Water bar. With live acoustic music you’ll definitely chilax (that’s a combination of being chilled and relaxed – don’t ask me, ask Phil, he came up with it!).
The Infiniti Bar also has a chillaxed feel to it… After all it comes with a deck and a pool.
The Amazon Bar is a bit like the Salt Water Bar with the difference being the pool has a waterfall, submerged seating and water-jets… Mmm… Bubbly!
The Cellar Bar is a real treat for those of you who (like Phil) know their wine… The resort’s well-stocked wine cellar with vintage and rare wine labels.
Destination Dining… If you’re on your
honeymoon in the Maldives
then the Beach House Manafaru provides a personalised dining service.
Choose any location on the island or even in your own villa and a swarm of Chefs will arrive and cook you up a storm… at any time.
If all that eating has made you think of chaxing completely (apparently that’s even more relaxing than chilaxing according to Phil – sorry folks, I have to put up with him and so do you…!), then take a trip to the Shui Spa on Manafaru Maldives.
The spa on Manafaru Maldives is quite exquisite and its five elements are dotted about the island specialising in Ayurvedic massage, Thai yoga and Japanese Shiatsu gazebos, a manicure & pedicure room and a juice bar counter… Refresh-tastic!
But don’t worry, there are conventional spa services (saunas, steam rooms etc) at the Beach House Manafaru too.
The Beach House also houses its own Shui Boutique (did you see what we did there with the word “house”?? OK enough paronomasia Charley!).
It offers a wide range of traditional Asian spa products as well as well known branded skin care products. Well, what else would you expect from a Maldives luxury resort?
The Beach House Manafaru Maldives also has a main boutique with a selection of swim wear, souvenirs, books and magazines. You can also sample Sri Lankan jewellery with precious gem stones.
Manafaru Maldives Activities
Step up on the pace with recreational pursuits at the Beach House Manafaru.
There’s a gym, two tennis courts, pool and billiards tables, two large communal swimming pools and a trampoline!
For all things aquatic there’s a five star PADI dive centre on Manafaru Maldives, with PADI certified programmes for adults and kids as young as eight years old – so their Maldives holiday can be as diverse as yours!
The Oceanic life is mesmerising and if you can’t get enough of the water then there are underwater excursions too!
house reef houses sea turtles
(see I did it again with “house”!) and a myriad of other aquatic life as well as a dive site – the Weeping Eye – just a 25- minute boat ride away.
During your Manafaru Maldives vacation, younger children can have Bubble maker lessons and pre-teens (and older children) can take part in Discover Scuba programmes.
For the more experienced divers or burgeoning enthusiasts, you can take part in open water diving with air or Nitrox, underwater photography as well as
and videography courses.
If that’s not enough, then Underwater Scooter and Re-breather courses give you the chance to improve your diving skills.
Also, you’ll find no matter your language, the diving team speak English, German, Japanese, French and Italian with Russian instructors available upon request.
Farther afield, you can hop aboard a luxury Dhoni to island hop, or perhaps fish or even maroon yourself with a desert island excursion.
For you gentlemen out there, Manafaru Maldives has a treat just for you… A Gentlemen’s Retreat. Just what you’d expect from a Lads’ Club – a 50 inch LCD TV, games consoles and a virtual 18 hole golf course simulator.
Manafaru Maldives Specialities
The Beach House at Manafaru boasts luxury from the beginning, so much so that you’ll be met at the airport by one of the resort’s representatives to escort you to your internal transfer.
The Beach House is also an all round resort. If you’re travelling with children aged 3 – 12 they can use the Turtle Kids' Club with its own games room, activity programme and private pool… and to round it off, there’s even turtle monitoring during the nesting season - children love seeing this. If your kids are younger than 3, an adult will need to supervise them.
The Beach House at Manafaru Maldives is also environmentally conscious and has ensured that all villas are designed to utilise natural light during the day and a natural ventilation system utilising the Indian Ocean breeze… refreshing!
The library has free Internet access and, if you’re into star gazing then try the observatory with a large telescope above reception.
Finally, it’s worth mentioning that Maldives Manafaru is also a
wedding and renewal of vows resort
. So those of you celebrating your nuptials for more than 13 nights will receive a complementary ceremony, wedding cake and private dinner by candle light… all captured by a local photographer.
Hmm… Anything Else Catch Our Eye?
Don't forget that tidal influences often mean that one side of the resort has less beach than the other.
Where there's less beach, there'll usually be more coral debris, so be careful when going out to snorkel or swim.
