There are a host of scheduled flights each week to the Maldives from across the globe. Scheduled flights are a bit like your well known airline, like LTU International Airways from Germany or Sri Lankan Airlines from� you guessed it, Sri Lanka.

These guys are the big guns and tend to focus on really popular business and holiday destinations so you won�t always find your country�s major airline heading towards Mal� but worry not, there are plenty of airlines that do.

Maldives Flights � Budget and Low Cost Airlines

Budget airlines do travel to the Maldives. Traditionally they didn't, as their profits came from carrying out a high number of short haul flights each day. But with many tourists happy to organise their holidays to the Maldives independently, the market has opened up.

You can find budget airlines based in Europe and Asia that offer cheap flights, but remember it's only a flight; it's not accommodation, or meals, or transfers from Mal� to the resort; it's a straightforward flight only deal.
