A natural and spacious island, Kuramathi Village Resort is on the Rasdhoo Atoll next to the sizeable North Ari Atoll. Rasdhoo is due west of Malé International Airport and about 90 minutes by speedboat or a brisk 20 minutes by seaplane. Often when we say speedboat we get the feeling that you’ve an image of a nifty sleek Italian craft of wood with a couple of large engines out the back and possibly a water skier or two in tow… 
Yes you are right about the two large engines but these are big speedboats with room inside for about thirty passengers; fast but not quite as fashionable as a powerboat I’m afraid! Kuramathi Village Maldives AccommodationThe accommodation for Kuramathi Island Village is 151 furnished rooms in three types. The Standard rooms are round and thatched in style, comfortably furnished with shower, air-conditioning, a mini-fridge and a terrace area with a table and two chairs just steps from the water’s edge. You’ve a little sprinkler tap too for getting that pesky sand off your feet before wandering over the tiles of your room. Standard bungalows are larger than the standard rooms, made of dark wood and the more identifiable square shape. They come with the same facilities and in addition the bathroom also has a bath. Coconut Village Superior rooms are pretty new individual wooden bungalows again with the facilities of the other accommodation and also four-poster beds and an open-air shower. There are no tea-making facilities or hair dryers in the Village accommodation.
