Coco Palm Maldives Bodu Hithi Overview

As we said before, here is where it’s a bit tricky… This is one of two separate Coco Palm resorts in the Maldives (as well as Coco Palms in other countries and a Cocoa Island in the Maldives) which can be confusing. To keep it simple we’ll refer to each by its full name; Coco Palm Maldives Bodu Hithi.

This Maldives Coco Palm resort is about 30 kilometres from Malé International Airport.

That’s a swift and comfortable 40 minute boat ride to your island across the warmest bluest waters you’ll ever see.

Coco Palm Maldives Bodu Hithi Accommodation

Sea View Island Villas are big. The bedroom has a bathtub in it with views over the ocean, an en-suite dressing room, bathroom and two showers, one inside and one out.

There’s a private decking area shielding a pool and daybed. Room enough for a barbeque! Of course for beach lovers the island villas are near perfect for a shoeless holiday in the tropical sun.

The Water Villas sit over the warm oceanic waters. Your king size bed a raft adrift.

Like the island villas, there’s an indoor and outdoor shower, spacious bathroom, a large living area so you can leave your clothes… scattered everywhere! A split-level sun deck with plunge pool walks you down to the lagoon.

Escape Water Villas have all the qualities of the water villas with a larger pool outside deck area and interior space.

The room facilities for all the Bodu Hithi villas in the Maldives include, a television that’s flat screen or plasma, espresso machine for the early morning wake up coffee call.

Access ports for laptops, you’d be well advised to check reliability and speeds for usage. Phil takes his laptop sometimes if only to load on the pictures and free up the memory card on the camera… and watch films when he thinks I’m not looking!

On Bodu Hithi you’ll either have a balcony or terrace and plunge pool. Inside there’s air conditioning, IDD Telephone, fridge and safety deposit box, bath robe for each of you, tea making facilities, CD and DVD player too.
